PELLING

GANGTOK

Gangtok,if you want to visit to Buddhist temples & monasteries Gangtok is a good choice. This region is located at an altitude of 28, 169 ft. and is the largest peak in the world and is visible from Gangtok.

For a thrilling experience, drive to Nathula pass and you will get a view of beautiful lakes.Nathula pass situated on the Indo- China border.To visit Nathula you need to have a permit done by tour operator which is authorized by Sikkim government.It is not not allowed to take a self-driven vehicle to Nathula.The permit is issued by the Sikkim Tourism Department in Gangtok/ Police Check Post.

LACHEN

Lachen is a small place located at an altitude of 9,000ft. You will get the best of mountains , snow peaks and forests in Lachen.

Gurudongmar Lake a major attraction in Lachen . It is a must visit lake to make your trip memorable.Lachen Monastery is for the people who enjoy being spiritual. You can also visit local market in Lachen where you will get the sheep wool shawls, carpets, bags. You can also get woodcraft Buddhas in Handicrafts Centre.

LACHUNG

Lachung is the most beautiful place to visit in North-Sikkim. To get overall a different experience and peace, visit Lachung. Yumthang, zero point valley are major attractions there. You can enjoy playing with snow if you are planning between October and February.
